Description
This large, bright 2-bed apartment, situated on Rue Bateguier, just one street behind La Croisette, is the perfect place to stay whether you are visiting Cannes on holiday or on business. This 2nd floor apartment is wonderfully spacious (74 sq mts) and decorated and equipped to the highest standard. There is no lift. Rue Batequier is right in the heart of Cannes, next to some of Cannes' best restaurants, i.e. Le 7eme Art, Le Petit Paris etc. There are two large bedrooms, each with twin beds which can be configured into doubles if you wish. There is a huge living/dining area. There are 2 enormous leather sofas - one which is long and comfortable enough for someone to sleep on. So there is the possibility for a fifth person to stay at this apartment, if needed, on one of these large leather sofas. The kitchen is fully equipped with a cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave. There is air-conditioning for summer and electric heaters in all rooms for chilly evenings in winter. The apartment is a 2 minute walk to the Croisette using a convenient walkway at the end of the street.
Location
This apartment is superbly located, just steps from the Croisette and a 2-minute stroll to the Palais des Festivals. Whether you are attending one of Cannes' many conferences or on a holiday, you will want to be at the very heart of the action. Nearby you will find wonderful restaurants and bars, shops (many of the best designers), a little supermarket, fantastic jewellers, bakeries and much more. Life in Cannes centres around the world famous Croisette, the most elegant seaside promenade in Europe. Flanked by clear blue sea, golden beaches and perfect lines of striped parasols on one side and on the other stately palms, exclusive shops and pavement cafés nestled between the beautiful Belle Epoch and Art Deco buildings. A few minutes walk along the prom will bring you to the Vieux Port (old port) and ‘Le Suquet’ (a castle on the hill) where numerous restaurants are packed into the narrow streets climbing the hillside. The views from the top are spectacular!

There is air-conditioning available in each bedroom and in the main living area. The temperature in each room can be controlled separately. There are manual shutters. You do not need a car in this apartment as it is so close to everything. However, should you need or wish to bring a car, you can prebook car parking (in the Palais public car park) online. The two bedroom apartment was just as described on the internet: a spacious two bedroom apartment close to all the amenaties. The intructions on how to get to the apartment, to turn the electricity on etc and which restaurants to use were most helpful. The Cave restaurant was our favourite eating place to. I would recommend this apartment and your company to my friends and family.
