Description
Situated on the 4th floor (with a lift), this well-appointed, two-bed apartment is located on Rue Hoche in the heart of Cannes. Bright and airy with mostly 12-foot high ceilings, it is ideal for both business and holiday visitors as it is just 3 minutes walk to the Palais, the Croisette and to the beaches. It was recently renovated in a practical, modern style. It comprises of a living/dining room, two bedrooms (one double, one twin), a full bathroom and a shower room and a fully equipped kitchen with a hob, fridge, microwave and washing machine. There is air-con in the kitchen only and there are fans in the bedrooms and living room. Please note that it can be a warm apartment in the summer months if the temperature is particularly high outside. The open plan kitchen air-conditioning can be switched to heating for colder months.
Location
Rue Hoche is situated just one street back from and parallel to Rue D'Antibes. The apartment entrance is directly across from the rear door of Sephora on Rue D'Antibes. The Palais des Festivals, where the conferences and red carpet events take place, is just 3 minutes' walk away.
Rue Hoche is now a pedestrianised street, with lots of interesting tea rooms, cafes and a gelaterie that people visit from miles around to pick up ice cream or sorbets. You definitely don't need a car for your stay here - you can walk to everything you want in minutes!
Distances - shopping on Rue D'Antibes (1 min), supermarkets (1 min), restaurants (1 min), beaches (3 min), the Palais (3 min), La Croisette (3 min), train station (2 min), bus stops at Hotel de Ville (4 min), marketplace Gambetta (1 min), marketplace Forville (4 min).
It is the ideal place to use as a base for touring the local region. There is a lot to do in Cannes itself - shopping, sun bathing, swimming, visiting the markets etc. For the more adventurous, there are boat trips to the local Lerins Islands or along the coast to St Tropez. There are lots of great boulangeries and street cafes for that morning croissant or there is a huge selection of restaurants serving wonderful food to suit any budget. You will love it!
