Called L'Olivier, this 25m2 studio in the heart of Cannes is located on the first floor of a typical Cannes town building that has recently been renovated to a very high standard. It is sytlish and practical and makes the maximum use of the space available. The building does not have a lift.
Fully equipped with air con and wifi internet, studio L'Olivier is ideal for anyone wanting to attend the conferences at the Palais just a few seconds away, or for anyone wanting to enjoy the Cannes lifestyle.
The main living area is light and spacious with an open plan kitchen. The studio opens out onto a small balcony where you can enjoy a breakfast in the sun! The balcony has a table and two chairs.
The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave oven with grill, refrigerator and freezer, espresso maker, kettle and toaster. There is an LCD TV in the living area and wifi internet throughout the apartment.
There is a large double bed in the sleeping area which is located up the stairs on a mezzanine level, and there is a double sofa bed in the living area should you need to accommodate more people.
The shower room is modern and very well appointed with plenty of storage space. There is a well-equipped laundry room on the top floor in the building with a washing machine, a separate tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.
This is a very nice apartment, with clever use of space, in a brilliant location. There is a sofabed and can sleep up to 4. It is best suited for two people in Cannes on business, or for two couples or a small family on holiday. The ceiling level over the mezzanine bed is low so you need to be nimble to use that bed. But it is very comfortable and a great novelty for children.
This entire building was renovated very recently and has one 2-bed and five studio apartments in all. Location
Rue Marechal Joffre is one of the most central streets in Cannes. Situated immediately within the sought-after Banane area, the street leads down past Rue D'Antibes and immediately onto the Croisette, where the Palais des Festivals (conference centre) is located. The Croisette is also where you will find the best of Cannes' beaches. The apartment building is directly opposite Rue Meynadier, a renowned and well-loved street in Cannes, with its colourful shops, bakeries, cafes and restaurants. Forville market which takes place every morning, (selling locally grown vegetables, fish, cold meats, fresh flowers etc) is located at the far end of Rue Meynadier. There is no need for a car here as all of the main attractions are within easy walking reach.
